Gillingham have snapped up Manchester United youngster Febian Brandy on a three-month loan deal. Gills manager Mark Stimson had been reportedly tracking the 20-year-old for some weeks now and have finally seen their efforts rewarded. The striker has experienced League One football before whilst spending the season on loan at Swansea in 2007/08. Since then Brandy has had another loan spell with the Swans while the frontman spent three months on loan at Hereford towards the end of last season. Brandy has never featured for the Red Devils first-team but has been a regular in the reserve side for a number of years while he has also represented England Under 20s. United have given Gillingham permission to select the pacey Brandy for this weekend's FA Cup clash with Southend.
