Maicon's agent has rubbished reports linking the Inter Milan full-back with a move to Manchester City.
The Brazilian's future has been the subject of speculation for some time and fresh rumours have suggested he could be on his way to Eastlands.
However, the player's representative Antonio Caliendo insists there is no truth in the transfer talk as Maicon remains committed to the Serie A champions.
"Every day there's a story linking Maicon to a different club," Caliendo told tuttomercatoweb.it.
"First it was Real Madrid, then Manchester United and now City.
"I think Maicon has already reiterated his wish to remain at Inter."
Maicon is a key player for the Nerazzurri and under contract until 2013, so Caliendo does not believe it would make sense for him to join a club that is not playing in the UEFA Champions League.
"If the likes of Real or United knock on the door then you consider the eventual offers," he explained.
"But we are talking about a top player who is fighting for the league title, the Champions League, the best player in his role, what would he be doing at City?
"I think it would be unthinkable, let's not joke about it."
