George Boyd is hoping his form at Peterborough will catch the eye of Scotland boss George Burley.
The Posh winger has burst out of the blocks this season and already has nine goals to his name.
He knows that should he be able to maintain that standard, international recognition is likely to follow.
Boyd did feature for a Scotland 'B' side against Northern Ireland towards the end of last season, but he is yet to make the breakthrough into the senior fold.
That, though, is a situation he is keen to see rectified over the coming months.
"They called me to say that I wasn't involved in the last squad but hopefully if I keep playing well then I will get another call-up," said Boyd.
"The full squad is obviously the main target and I if I keep scoring goals in the Championship then I feel I have a chance.
"But my main priority is keeping Peterborough in the league and whatever comes on top of that is a bonus."
