Wolves defender George Friend has headed out on loan for the third time this season after agreeing a month-long deal with Scunthorpe United.
Friend has had spells at Millwall and Southend United already this term and was wanted for a second month at Roots Hall.
However, Southend's financial situation prompted the Football League to put a block on the 22-year-old extending his time with the League One club.
He has now secured a move to Scunthorpe and is likely to go into Nigel Adkins' squad for Saturday's Championship game at home to Swansea City.
"I'm delighted to join the club for a month," Friend told the club's official website.
"It all came around very quickly - in the last couple of days - but I met the manager for the first time this morning and I was very impressed by him and his coaching staff.
"It seems a good club and I'm happy to be here."
Friend can play at left-back, centre-back and in midfield, and scored for Wolves in a pre-season friendly against Scunthorpe.
