Sheffield Wednesday winger Jermaine Johnson has signed a new deal at Hillsborough.
The Jamaican international has agreed a contract extension to keep him in South Yorkshire until 2011.
Owls boss Brian Laws was delighted to secure the long-term future of the pacy wide man.
"I am delighted that Jermaine Johnson has committed to a new contract at Sheffield Wednesday," Laws told the club's official website.
"JJ is one the most exciting players in the Championship on his day.
"There is still plenty to come from JJ so I am pleased we have secured his commitment to Sheffield Wednesday."
Johnson was also happy to pledge his future to the club.
"I have really enjoyed my time at Sheffield Wednesday so far," noted Johnson. "It is a great club and the supporters have really welcomed me so I am very pleased to extend my contract here.
"I hope that I can keep adding goals to my game and improving as a player for this club and I will be working hard to help achieve success for Sheffield Wednesday."
