Grimsby Town have boosted their attacking options by snapping up Cardiff City's teenage striker Josh Magennis on a month's loan.
Magennis has arrived at Blundell Park to pep up a forward line which is currently shorn of the services of Adam Proudlock and Nathan Jarman due to injuries, and Barry Conlon due to suspension.
The Northern Ireland Under 21 international made his debut for Cardiff at the start of this season and he has made a total of eight substitute appearances for the club.
He also scored his first senior goal in the Carling Cup against Bristol Rovers and is highly rated by Cardiff after initially starting his career as a goalkeeper.
Mariners boss Mike Newell is likely to hand the 19-year-old an immediate debut on Saturday as the League Two strugglers play host to Rochdale.
