Bordeaux striker David Bellion has agreed a new three-year contract with the Ligue 1 club.
The former Sunderland and Manchester United front man will stay with the French side until 2014.
Bellion, 28, joined Bordeaux in 2007 after spending five months on-loan with league rivals Nice.
The experienced striker admitted his delight in agreeing a new deal having settled in France since his switch from the Premier League.
"I am delighted to sign my new contract here," he told skysports.com
"I love this club and I will get more chances to play in this fantastic team.
"I had some contacts but I did not want to move for moving sake, I am happy here and I want to play for a team who fight for silverware. I got that mentality during my time with Manchester United."
