Inter Milan are reportedly lining up a move for Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma.
Inter president Massimo Moratti has already targeted Lazio forward Goran Pandev as an ideal replacement for Samuel Eto'o, who leaves for the African Cup of Nations in the new year, and could make a double swoop on the Eagles.
Ledesma, 27, has been linked with a January exit from the Stadio Olimpico and the Nerazzurri are keeping tracks on him according to Inter expert Giulio Mola.
"Inter are also pondering a move for a midfielder with the right qualities to add depth to the squad," Mola told Antenna3.
"Given what is available on the market at present, Ledesma is one of the choices of coach Mourinho.
"However, given the interest from Fiorentina, it looks certain Moratti may have to come up against (director of football) Corvino who already has good relations with the player."
Meanwhile, midfielder Cristian Brocchi is set to return for Lazio after one-and-a-half months on the sidelines with injury.
Brocchi is hoping to be available for next weekend's Serie A game against Sampdoria.
