Derby forward Chris Porter can see light at the end of the tunnel as he recovers from a hip injury.
The 25-year-old underwent an operation in August but is now off his crutches and hopes to begin jogging so he can make a comeback in December.
Porter, who signed for the Rams during the summer, admits the injury left him frustrated, but thinks he has now turned the corner.
"Things are going well, I'm pleased with how everything has gone and I'm getting there slowly but surely," he told Derby's official website.
"Although I feel like I could run now, I know I can't just yet.
"It was getting to me because I couldn't drive and I had to rely on people all the time for lifts but I can see light at the end of the tunnel now as I'm about halfway or just past it.
"I haven't got a date set for a return, but I've said before the start of December is when I'm aiming to be in and around being able to get back to playing."
