Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock insists goalkeeper Julian Speroni is staying put.

Warnock has rubbished suggestions the Eagles could be considering cashing in on their prized asset after a superb season so far.

The Argentinean was named Palace's player of the year last season after a solid stint between the posts which has carried on into this term.

Warnock has been quick to dash any exit rumours with speculation mounting over Speroni's future.

The best

The former Blades boss is adamant his star man is staying put despite rumours suggesting otherwise.

"I think he's one of the best in the country," Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser.

"He won't be going anywhere. While I'm here, he's here.

"He knows what I think of him and there's no chance of us letting him go."
