Egypt international Amr Zaki says it is his dream to play in the World Cup.
The former Wigan striker is expected to line-up for the crucial qualifier with Zambia on Saturday.
Egypt lie three points adrift of group leaders Algeria in African qualifying Group C after four games.
And, with a tricky meeting with the aforementioned still to come on November 14, Zaki's side can ill afford to let slip this weekend.
"We have to qualify for the World Cup, it is our nation's dream," he told Skysports.com.
"We have to win against Zambia and beat Algeria on their ground.
"We can do it, we can realise our dream of playing in the World Cup," he said.
Zaki admitted his frustrations at missing out in the African Confederation Cup through injury.
Delighted to be back in action, he said: "I already missed the African Confederation Cup because of injury, I don't want to miss the World Cup too."
