Brighton say they will not rush long-term absentees Glen Murray and Jim McNulty back into action.
Murray, 26, is slowly coming back to fitness following a hernia operation earlier this year.
McNulty, meanwhile, is getting back to fitness after being troubled with a persistent ankle problem soon after battling through a kidney injury.
Both players figured in the Seagulls Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Leyton Orient earlier this week but may be rested for Saturday's trip to Yeovil.
Assistant boss Dean White says that, although delighted to have both players back in action, the club were not willing to risk any further setbacks.
"You need to be careful before you throw them back into it," said White.
"It was important to see how they were, because it's been a long time since either of them played 90 minutes.
"They are options, but it is whether they are ready or not."
