West Brom will be without talented winger Chris Brunt for two to three weeks due to a calf strain.
The Northern Ireland international limped out of Saturday's goalless draw at Preston with the injury on the hour mark.
Brunt, who was making just his second appearance this season after a knee problem, will now have another short spell on the sidelines.
Along with missing his country's World Cup qualifier with Czech Republic next week, he is now a major doubt to feature against Reading the following weekend.
He could also miss West Brom's following match against Swansea, but could come into contention for Roberto Di Matteo's squad to face Coventry four days' later.
