Notts County have confirmed striker Luke Rodgers has been quizzed by police following a disturbance.
The 27-year-old is alleged to have been involved in an incident at the Tantara bar in Nottingham city centre in the early hours of Wednesday.
Rodgers was celebrating with team-mates after his side's 3-0 win over Lincoln City in which he scored a hat-trick.
A spokesman for County said: "He went to the police station with his solicitor the day after the incident."
Nottinghamshire police said in a statement: "A 27-year-old male has been arrested in connection with a disturbance at the Tantra bar in Nottingham in the early hours of Wednesday September 30.
"He is currently on police bail pending further enquiries."
The former Shrewsbury striker has travelled with the County squad for Saturday's trip to Cheltenham as the Magpies look to build on their promising start to their League Two campaign.
