Alan Sheehan has extended his loan spell at Oldham for a further month.
The full-back initially joined the Latics on a short-term deal on transfer deadline day.
The 23-year-old has been in impressive form since then and Oldham are only too happy to keep him on board.
Sheehan scored a spectacular goal for Dave Penney's side against MK Dons on Tuesday, helping to extend the club's unbeaten run to three games.
He is delighted to be staying at Boundary Park and is hoping to continue making a positive impression over the coming weeks.
"I'm happy we've gone on a run and to be staying here to continue that run with the boys," Sheehan told the club's official website.
