Striker hoping there is more to come after scoring in Carling Cup

Fraizer Campbell admits a weight has been lifted off his shoulders after scoring his first goal for Sunderland in the Carling Cup. The striker joined Sunderland from Manchester United in the summer, but has taken time to get off the mark for his new club. His appearance against Birmingham City in the third round was his eighth since his arrival at the Stadium of Light and he opened his account for the club with the second goal in the Black Cats' 2-0 win. The England Under 21 international is now predicting more goals in the future, even though he accepts he will spend parts of the season on the bench. "I was very happy to get off the mark," said Campbell in the Daily Express. "It lifts a weight off your shoulders because I have been thinking, 'when will it come?' "Now I can just relax and concentrate on my football. A lot more will come. "I feel part of the team and part of the plans here. Sometimes I will be on the bench and sometimes I'll be in the team. "It is the same for all the players."
