Scunthorpe are sweating over the fitness of goalkeeper Joe Murphy after he picked up an arm injury in the Carling Cup win over Port Vale.
Murphy was forced off in the first half of the victory at Glanford Park after a collision with Lewis Haldane.
The Irishman has been sent for a scan on the injury and he is a major doubt for this weekend's game with Doncaster.
Iron boss Nigel Adkins is hoping the injury to Murphy is not too serious.
"Joe Murphy has picked up an injury with his arm where his nerve has gone dead from his elbow down to his hand," said Adkins.
"He's gone to have an X-ray to make sure there isn't any damage with his neck.
"Obviously there is going to be some nerve trapment and hopefully it goes away as quickly as it came."
