AC Milan's Ronaldinho has quashed suggestions he could retire from football at the end of the season.
The Brazilian playmaker has failed to recapture his best form with the Rossoneri and manager Leonardo recently conceded he is not the player he was three years ago.
Ronaldinho has not featured in Milan's last two games, with some critics now speculating he could hang up his boots next summer.
However, the former Barcelona star is contracted to the San Siro outfit until 2011 and fully intends to see out his deal with the Serie A giants.
"I have never considered the possibility of retiring from football," he told his personal website.
"The source of my happiness has always been to play football.
"I am happy at Milan and I will remain here until the end of my contract."
