Fredi Kanoute has insisted he is enjoying life at Sevilla and could finish his career with the club.
The Mali international has established himself as one of the most formidable strikers in the Primera Liga since joining Sevilla from Tottenham in 2005.
Kanoute has frequently been linked with a move back to England but he signed a new deal in the spring to keep him at Sevilla until 2012.
And the 32-year-old, who has started the new season in fine form, is looking to try and help Sevilla compete with Barcelona and Real Madrid.
"I am feeling very good," Kanoute told skysports.com. "As a striker it is good to find the back of the net and winning and scoring brings confidence.
"It is good to have a strong start because Real and Barca won't lose many or drop many points, and we have the qualities to battle with them.
"I am happy at Sevilla, it is a place I love and maybe I will finish my career here."
