Colchester are sweating on the fitness of Ashley Vincent after the winger was carried off during the 1-1 draw against Swindon.
Vincent left the field on a stretcher after sustaining an ankle injury while scoring for the Us at the County Ground.
New boss Adrian Boothroyd has already seen defender Pat Baldwin carried off against Southampton last week, while midfielder was Kem Izzet red-carded at St Mary's.
"I thought 'welcome back to management'! I've already had two of my players stretchered off, and another sent off," said Boothroyd.
"Ashley had looked a threat. We put ice on the injury, and he's had it compressed. We'll have to wait and see how it reacts.
"But not to worry, because we're still unbeaten and we will take the point."
