Queens Park Rangers have confirmed that Watford are keen to sign their former striker Heidar Helguson.
Skysports, com revealed on transfer deadline day that the Hornets were looking to land the Iceland marksman.
Helguson enjoyed a five-and-half-year spell with Watford before joining Fulham in 2005.
Now Rangers are ready to let him leave on loan and Watford look set to beat a number of rival Championship clubs to his signature.
"They are keen and I've let Heidar know they're interested," QPR boss Jim Magilton told the Ealing Gazette.
"I'll talk to the player again and we'll go from there."
