Ipswich Town have announced the signing of Reading defender Liam Rosenior on loan until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old had been a regular in Brendan Rodgers' team, but the new Royals boss is look to tweak his squad after signing Chelsea full-back Shaun Cummings.
Rodgers admits he had no problems with Rosenior's ability, but he is looking to the future at the Madejski Stadium.
He said: "Liam is in the final year of his contract and I obviously have to look beyond this season and construct a team for the future.
"Liam has been steady for us this season and hasn't been one ounce of a problem but I have brought Shaun Cummings here at 20 years of age who can help us go forward."
