Skysports.com understands Aldershot have rejected a bid from Swindon for star striker Marvin Morgan.
Morgan has enjoyed a superb start to the season and the big forward's performances have not gone unnoticed with a number of League One and Championship sides monitoring his progress.
Swindon have been scouring the transfer market for a new striker since the exit of Simon Cox and they have been frustrated in their attempts to bring in a new attacker.
Robins boss Danny Wilson is believed to have turned his attentions to Morgan as he looks to land a forward before the close of the transfer window, but Aldershot have rebuffed their overtures.
Aldershot are keen to keep hold of Morgan, who has scored three goals so far this season, as they look to build a side capable of challenging for promotion.
