Scott happy to see defender return to Griffin Park

Bristol City defender James Wilson has joined League One side Brentford for a second spell on loan. Wilson enjoyed three months with the Bees at the start of last season and made 16 appearances during his time at Griffin Park. He has now accepted a return to Brentford and manager Andy Scott is delighted to have added the 20-year-old to his squad. "Obviously we know James from last season, he did a terrific job for us during his loan spell and he's always been in our minds as a player we wanted to bring back in one shape or form this season," Scott told the club's official website. "We've been speaking with Bristol City for the last few weeks and I'm delighted that we've been able to obtain James for this initial one-month spell, even more so with Alan Bennett having picked up a knock on Tuesday evening." Wilson is set to go straight into the squad for Brentford's trip to Southampton on Saturday, with one of his two league appearances for Bristol City having come against Saints last season.
