Bristol Rovers goalkeeper Steve Phillips is to be allowed to leave the club on a free transfer, skysports.com understands.
Phillips is back training at the League One outfit after a possible move to Turkish side Ankaragucu fell through earlier this month.
The 31-year-old has dropped down the pecking order at Memorial Stadium following the arrivals of Rhys Evans and Fraser Forster.
Rovers are now thought to be willing to let the former Bristol City keeper move on for free despite having a year to run on his contract.
Phillips' agent, Clive Hart, confirmed Rovers were prepared to let the keeper leave.
"Bristol Rovers have indicated that they will be willing to let Steve leave on a free transfer," Hart told skysports.com.
"It is my understanding they will be circulating his name to all clubs about his availability this week."
