Dutch champions AZ Alkmaar have loaned Gijs Luirink and Kemy Agustien to Eredivisie newboys RKC Waalwijk.

Defender Luirink and midfielder Agustien have joined RKC - who are yet to pick up a point in the Eredivisie - on season-long loans.

The pair could now make their RKC debuts against Steve McClaren's FC Twente on 23rd August.

Luirink, 25, joined the Dutch champions from FC Groningen in 2006 but injuries have restricted him to just 17 appearances, while 22-year-old Agustien has played 25 games for AZ and spent last season on loan at Birmingham.
