Conor Sammon is ready impress at Kilmarnock this season after joining from Derry City last summer.
The 22-year-old striker joined the SPL club last season, but only mustered one goal in 19 league appearances under Jim Jefferies.
Sammon believes he is now settled in Scotland and remains as hungry as ever to make his SPL stint a success.
"I'm hungrier to do well and really show what I can do. I'll be trying to do that in each game," explained Sammon.
"When I came from Ireland it did take me a while to get used to the SPL and to the standard of it.
"So this season I am confident I can make a big impact and nail down a place in the team."
