Chris McCann and Jay Rodriguez have agreed new two-year contracts at Burnley.
Irish midfielder McCann played a crucial role for the Clarets last term as they secured promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs.
The 22-year-old, who has come through the ranks at Turf Moor, was a virtual ever-present in the starting XI and scored six goals.
Rodriguez featured less regularly but still played a part and is regarded as an exciting prospect for the future.
The striker, 20, spent time on loan with Stirling Albion in 2008 and will now be hoping to make an impact in the Premier League.
Burnley kick off their Premier League campaign with an away game against Stoke City on Saturday.
