Achille Emana has confirmed that he is close to sealing a move to Valencia from Real Betis.
The Cameroon international midfielder is looking to move on this summer after suffering relegation with Betis last term.
A €4million (£3.4m) switch to Mestalla has been touted, with an agreement said to be close.
Emana has admitted as much, but insists a transfer away from Andalusia is far from guaranteed.
"It is almost done," he told skysports.com.
"I don't want to play in the second division, so if the two clubs can reach an agreement I will be happy.
"I love Betis as a club, though, and the deal is not done and dusted yet. You never know, I might still be playing at Betis next season."
