Accrington Stanley have agreed a deal to sign Leeds United goalkeeper Alan Martin on loan until January.
The League Two club had been chasing Martin for much of the summer as John Coleman sought a replacement for Kenny Arthur.
Leeds were initially reluctant to let Martin leave, but the arrival of Shane Higgs at Elland Road has prompted a change of heart.
Martin, who spent last season on loan at Barrow, will now link up with Stanley until 1st January with Leeds boss Simon Grayson hoping the youngster can build up his first-team experience.
Grayson told the club's official website: "With Casper (Ankergren) and Shane competing, we feel this is an opportunity for Alan to gain more experience and, hopefully, play regular senior football."
