Bayern Munich are currently not in the market to add to their squad after dampening rumours of a move for Shakhtar Donetsk's Darijo Srna.
Reports have claimed the Bundesliga giants could bolster their side with the money gained from centre-back Lucio's sale to Inter Milan.
But Bayern's director of sport Christian Nerlinger has explained coach Louis van Gaal is likely to promote players from within rather than look elsewhere.
Nerlinger told Bild: "I can rule out that we are to make a move for Darijo Srna. We do not feel pressured by the sale of Lucio as we are always considering what is going on.
"In addition, we also have a lot of good young players inside our academy we always keep our eyes on."
It is claimed that Bayern have been put off by Shakhtar's reported £16million asking price for right-back Srna.
Meanwhile, Bayern general manager Uli Hoeness confirmed the club are currently not active in the transfer market.
He added: "We are likely to stay out of business. We could be back in for a player at right-back, but at this point I am not aware who could be a suitable reinforcement for such a role."
