The former Monaco trainee did not feature in manager Gary McAllister's plans for this season and is now free to join another club
The Frenchman, who turns 26 next week, scored three goals in 52 appearances for Leeds after joining on a free transfer from Brighton in 2006.
However, 22 of those appearances were from the bench and his last start was under previous boss Dennis Wise in the New Year's Day home defeat by Oldham.
