Fulham defender yet to decide on Portman Road move

Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton remains optimistic of signing Fulham full-back Moritz Volz. The two clubs agreed a fee last weekend, but Volz has yet to decide on a move to Portman Road. Magilton accepts the German may want to stay in the Premier League, but is hoping he can be persuaded to drop down to the Championship. "We are still in the hunt for Moritz," Magilton told the club's official website.

Very good player

"I think he has to clear up his situation with Fulham. He has played a lot of games for them, but does not appear to be in their plans at the moment. "He feels he is a Premier League player and we agree. "So if he comes here then we have a very good player on our hands. "If he doesn't we have other options and will explore them."
