Full-back picks up knee injury in Preston's win over Palace
Callum Davidson is set to miss Scotland's friendly with Northern Ireland on Wednesday through injury.
The experienced full-back picked up a knee problem during Preston North End's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Davidson was replaced with 73 minutes of the match gone and Preston boss Alan Irvine doubts the 32-year-old will be available for international duty.
"I'll speak to (Scotland manager) George Burley, but it's disappointing for Callum," said Irvine.
The former Leicester City defender, who has won 17 caps, was looking to make his first Scotland appearance for almost six years in the game with Northern Ireland.
