West Brom manager Tony Mowbray has rebuffed talk the Championship outfit are poised to make a January move for Luton's David Bell.
The Baggies have raided Luton in the past for the likes of Curtis Davies and Leon Barnett and had been tipped to make a £1million bid for Bell come the New Year.
However, Mowbray knows nothing regarding a move for the 23-year-old and says bolstering his midfield options is not a priority.
Despite having James Morrison currently on the sidelines, Mowbray has options aplenty and thinks competition for places is healthy enough.

"With all due respect to the player, I don't know where these reports are coming from," he told the club's official website. "They certainly aren't coming from us.
"This season, I've been selecting from seven for four or five midfield positions, depending on which system we're playing. Even with James out, it's still six into four or five."
Meanwhile, Mowbray has stated Shelton Martis is not available for loan after rumours surfaced that Scunthorpe were interested in landing the defender.
The former Hibernian boss has confirmed he has fielded interest in Martis, but the time is not right to allow the stopper to depart.
"I've had a conversation with someone about Shelton," he continued.
"But, at this moment, it's not the right time because we've got Martin (Albrechtsen) out injured. Martin covers all areas of the defensive unit."
