Luke Chambers says leading Ipswich into the Barclays Premier League would be his proudest moment.
Town sit sixth in the Sky Bet Championship with a home match against Nottingham Forest on Saturday followed by a trip to Blackburn on the final day.
Chambers wrote in his matchday programme notes for the Forest game: "We all want to realise our dreams of playing in the Premier League.
"That's where everybody wants to be and I'm no different. I'm approaching 30 now and I know my best chance is making it with Ipswich. That's what I want and nothing would make me prouder.
"It's something I dream about but there's still a hell of a long way to go yet and we've got a very difficult game against Nottingham Forest to get through yet before then facing Blackburn on the final day.
"Then we can start looking at the play-offs, should we make it that far.
"All I will say is there's nobody who will want to be in those end of season play-offs more than the lads in this dressing-room, that's how hungry we are as a team to be successful together at this club."
