Atletico Madrid have received a huge boost ahead of their Champions League quarter-final first-leg clash against Real Madrid on Tuesday after striker Mario Mandzukic was passed fit.
The former Bayern Munich man has been sidelined for the past two games due to a recurring ankle problem.
However, he returned to training on Sunday with the club confirming he will be fit for selection against the European champions in midweek.
Mandzukic scored Atletico's fourth goal in a famous 4-0 win when the sides last met in February.
Atletico are unbeaten in six meetings against Real this season, but will still be keen to avenge defeat to Carlo Ancelotti's men in last season's Champions League final.
