Bradford defender Andrew Davies is back in contention for a starting berth against Oldham after recovering from an arm injury.

Davies has missed the Bantams' last three matches after taking a knock to his arm against Coventry, having broken it last August. Bradford manager Phil Parkinson has confirmed the former Middlesbrough centre-half is now back in full training. He told the club's website: "Davo is back. He has been training with us this week and training well. Obviously with Andrew, the concern was that the injury was on the same arm that he broke earlier this season. "We were thorough in our investigation, more really to put Davo's mind at rest. There was pain in there for Andrew but nothing that would cause long-term damage. "Davo is keen now to get back on with things. He has been frustrated about not playing recently but he is ready once again." Davies could come into the Bradford squad alongside new signing and former Boro team-mate Tony McMahon, who joined the Bantams on Thursday.
