Eden Hazard: No arguments if Petr Cech leaves Chelsea

Eden Hazard says he would understand if Petr Cech left Chelsea this summer.

Cech has started just four Premier League games this season and admitted this week he would not put up with another season as understudy to Thibaut Courtois.

The Czech Republic goalkeeper has won 12 major honours in more than a decade at Chelsea and, at 32, has been linked with Premier League rivals including Liverpool and Arsenal.

And Hazard told Sky Sports News HQ he would look for a move in similar circumstances.

"Thibaut and Petr are both very good, and when you are on the bench of course you want to play," he said.

"He knows he has the quality to play at a good club, and of course if I'm a good player and I'm on the bench I want to leave - this is football."

Hazard was speaking from Belgium's training camp, where Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany is also part of the national squad.

The pair have spoken about a title race that currently sees leaders Chelsea six points clear of champions City with a game in hand.

That advantage is "not enough", according to Hazard, who won his first domestic trophy in England earlier this month when Chelsea beat Tottenham in the League Cup final.

"I say to him (Kompany) 'we have to win'. Last season was Man City's, and I came to England to win trophies. This is a good opportunity to win a cup and the league."
