Davies waits on diagnosis

Bradford defender Andrew Davies is waiting to learn the full extent of the damage caused to his arm in Tuesday's draw at Coventry.

The 30-year-old was withdrawn at half-time and replaced by Alan Sheehan after taking a knock to the same arm he fractured in August during an aerial challenge late in the first period. "Andrew bashed his arm and we didn't want to take any chances, especially given it was around the same area where he broke it earlier this season," said Bantams manager Phil Parkinson after Mark Yeates' second-half free-kick had earned his side a point in a 1-1 draw. "It was in that same sort of area so there was a bit of concern and we wanted to play it safe. "We're not too sure how bad it is at the moment but Andrew was being bothered by it and there was no reason to take any risks and put him back out there when we had someone of Alan's quality on the bench."
