Sunderland have recalled goalkeeper Jordan Pickford from his loan spell at Bradford.

The 21-year-old has started in all Bradford's league fixtures this season after joining the club in the summer. He has made 34 appearances and has kept nine clean sheets. Bradford boss Phil Parkinson told the club's official website: "We are obviously disappointed to lose Jordan, but we always knew that there was the possibility of him being recalled at some point. "Jordan has been brilliant for us since coming to the club and he has been a pleasure to work with. "We'd like to thank him for all his efforts throughout this season and wish him all the very best for the future." Ben Williams, who stepped in for Pickford in this season's cup games, including Saturday's goalless FA Cup quarter-final against Reading, is expected to retain his place in goal for Bradford in Tuesday night's league game at Coventry.
