Williams back at Stadium:MK

Former MK Dons striker George Williams has returned to the club on loan for the remainder of the season.

Williams came through the youth ranks in Milton Keynes and made a handful of appearances for the Dons before leaving to join then-Premier League side Fulham in the summer of 2012. The 19-year-old has featured 16 times for the Cottagers this season, including eight starts. Dons boss Karl Robinson is excited about bringing him back to stadium:mk. "I was so gutted when he left and I took that really hard because he's a kid who has got everything," Robinson told the cliub's official website. "By the same token, I am so proud of what he's already gone on to achieve - seeing him play alongside the likes of Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey for Wales for a start. "For whatever reason he's found himself as a sub for Fulham so we've brought him here to hopefully relight the fire. I'm really excited by this one and he can definitely give us something different." Williams could feature at Colchester on Tuesday night, subject to Football League clearance.
