McCallum ban extended

Portsmouth striker Paul McCallum has been given a further four-match ban by the FA for improper conduct.

The 21-year-old pleaded guilty to the additional charge for his actions following his dismissal in last month's 2-1 home defeat against Southend. McCallum was seen to be involved in an altercation with an opposition player before making physical contact with referee Lee Collins as he left the field. The suspension will be added to the three games he received for the straight red card. McCallum served the first game of his ban last weekend and will now miss the games against Hartlepool, Dagenham, Exeter, Cambridge, Tranmere and Oxford.
