Cheltenham striker Terry Gornell has left the club after agreeing a settlement over the remaining six months of his contract.

His departure comes in the wake of the arrivals of attacking duo Wes Burns and Eliot Richards as Robins boss Paul Buckle revamps his squad. The 25-year-old joined Town in July 2013 on a two-year contract and went on to feature 68 times in all competitions, scoring nine goals. Gornell began his career at Tranmere before enjoying spells with Accrington, Shrewbury and Rochdale.
