Stoke City defender Robert Huth will serve a two-match ban after breaching Football Association rules regarding social media.
The centre-back will sit out the next two games, has been fined £15,000 and will complete a ‘mandatory education course’.
Huth was charged in relation to comments which were indecent and/or improper and/or brought the game into disrepute, contrary to FA Rule E3(1).
It was also considered an “aggravated breach” as defined in Rule E3(2), as it included a reference to gender and/or gender reassignment.
Huth is currently in talks with Leicester City over a loan move for the remainder of the season.
