Morgan makes Crawley switch

Crawley have signed Woking striker Dean Morgan on a loan deal until the end of the season.

As part of the agreement that sees Morgan sign for the Reds, youngster Charlie Banya moves in the opposite direction to get match practice at the Cards. "They are on the same wages so it isn't costing us anything," said Crawley manager Dean Saunders. "It's a man in the building. He plays anywhere across the front. He is really talented, got goals this season and is an experienced player. He's technically very good and has played at this level. "I just think we need experienced players right now. We have some young lads here, quite a few young lads, and I think Charles will go out and benefit from getting games as well." Morgan, who has scored nine goals this season for Conference club Woking, could feature for Crawley in their League One game at Fleetwood on Saturday. The 31-year-old has made more than 400 appearances in his career and scored more than 70 goals, enjoying spells at Colchester, Reading, Luton and Chesterfield amongst others. He was released by Wycombe at the end of last season.
