Doncaster have announced the signing of defender Andy Butler on a two-and-a-half year contract.
The 31-year-old had been on loan at Rovers from Sheffield United but has now made his move to the Keepmoat Stadium permanent. Butler began his career at Scunthorpe before spells with Huddersfield and Walsall. Also a qualified referee, the Doncaster-born centre-back has made 13 appearances for his hometown club so far this season, scoring one goal.
