Wolves are poised for talks with Sunderland about extending Danny Graham's loan.

The striker's deal expires on New Year's Eve and Kenny Jackett is keen to keep the 29-year-old at Molineux.

Graham has scored once in five games for Wolves after moving from the Black Cats in November to reignite his career.

He has not scored for them in 14 games since a £5million move from Swansea in January 2013 and Jackett confirmed Wolves will speak to Sunderland about keeping Graham.

He said: "We like him. We haven't discussed it with the club because he's contracted but there will be discussions. I feel he has done well for us and brought some experience to our frontline.

"He has been unlucky not to score more goals and the more games he plays the more he will improve.

"He has given us another option - options we need up front. Him and Rajiv van La Parra have helped us - especially in the absence of (Nouha) Dicko."

Meanwhile, Dicko could lead the line at Watford on Boxing Day after Jackett confirmed he is fit to start.

The striker suffered no reaction after his comeback following almost two months out with a hamstring injury.

Dicko played 45 minutes in Saturday's 1-1 Sky Bet Championship draw with Brighton.

The club's medical team advised Dicko should play just 20 minutes but after he came through without any problems he could now start on Boxing Day.

He said: "I think he should be ready. He trained on Monday morning after having Sunday off and he had no after-effects of the 45 minutes and no tightness.

"He hasn't had to stay in. He's been out there striking the ball and he's fine."
