Cuvelier has unfinished business

Sheffield United's fit-again midfielder Florent Cuvelier claims he has some unfinished business at Bramall Lane.

The 22-year-old Belgian recently returned to action after being ruled out for almost a year due to a knee injury. He stepped off the bench for a late cameo role in last weekend's FA Cup win against Plymouth and followed up with a 70-minute run-out this week for the Under-21s. "It's been a long, long time coming, but all the hard work, those long days in the gym alone are all worth it when you get to pull your shirt on again," Cuvelier told the club's official website. "Obviously there is still a long way to go in terms of returning to full fitness and rediscovering my best form, which nobody here will have seen, but this is a good starting point. "I honestly believe, though, that I will come back a better player, both physically and mentally and I hope to be able to show the management, my team-mates and the supporters exactly what I am capable of." Cuvelier joined the Blades from Stoke for an undisclosed fee in September 2013 and made only eight first-team appearances before sustaining cruciate ligament damage in his first game for Port Vale after joining them on loan in January.
