St Johnstone have decided not to contest the two-match ban given to Lee Croft for his dangerous tackle on Ross County's Liam Boyce in their Scottish Cup fourth round tie on Saturday.
Midfielder Croft was offered the suspension after the Scottish Football Association examined television footage of the incident during the Saints' 2-1 victory and charged the 29-year-old with "committing an act of serious foul play".
A principal hearing was set for Thursday, but on Wednesday St Johnstone's tweeted on their official Twitter account: "Club won't contest two match ban for @croft7."
Croft's two-game suspension will see him miss the Scottish Premiership visit to St Mirren on Saturday and the Scottish Cup holders' last-16 tie against Queen of the South in February.
